The sea expressway will use high-speed double-decker ferryboats that can carry 1200 passengers and 1000 tons of freight. It will take only 2 and a half to 3 hours to travel from Fuzhou to Taipei.
The service will be available by the end of this year, and will operate two to three times daily.
